Formed in early 2008, POWER TRIP is a crossover band from Dallas, Texas in the vein of late 80’s thrash, heavy metal and hardcore punk. For fans of Exodus, Vio-Lence, later Cro-Mags, and Prong.
Power Trip’s debut full length Manifest Destiny lays not a claim to total conquest for one bloodline, but a deterministic blood prophecy of planetary destruction by riff and simply put, it’s one of the best thrash records I’ve heard in a long time.

Xibalba is a heavy hardcore/metal band from Pomona California
The Pomona, Calif., doom-inflected hardcore quintet Xibalba seem to understand this, and when they keep things straightforward, they're very good at making youth-crew songs that stick (and make you want to do anything but sit still).
Nothing on Hasta La Muerte will change the course of music, no, but Xibalba's the sort of hardcore group that has a pretty great chance of changing a few individual worlds.

It was an excellent fit - the one track that's online at present is indie grunge personified - which means catchy as hell and delectably full-throttle.

Taking Back Sunday originally formed on Long Island, New York, USA in 1999. The band has gone through several lineup changes. Ruiner was a fast, but Melodic Hardcore band from Baltimore, Maryland. They released three LPs(I Heard These Dudes Are Assholes, Prepare To Be Let Down, and Hell Is Empty). They also released two EPs(What Could Possibly Go Right, and Dead Weight).
 
Ruiner's fairly hyped, proper Bridge 9 debut might come as a bit of a surprise to anyone who skipped over the album's teaser 7", The Lives We Fear, released several weeks ago. The band hasn't necessarily gone any sort of drastic stylistic makeover -- they're still playing fast and foreboding, semi-melodic hardcore in the form of desperate heartwrenching moment after desperate heartwrenching moment, but a few traits have been tweaked along the way.

 Social Distortion was formed in late 1978 by frontman Mike Ness, inspired by British punk bands and also by older acts such as The Rolling Stones. The original lineup consisted of Ness on lead guitar, Rikk and Frank Agnew on guitars, and Casey Royer on drums. Ness met Dennis Danell, who was a year older, in high school and insisted he join the band on bass guitar even though Danell had never played an instrument before. When Danell was brought in, Frank, Rikk, and Casey left to join The Adolescents. Mike and Dennis remained the only constant members for the next two decades with bass and drum members changing every few years. The Adolescents song "Kids of the Black Hole" and Social Distortion song "The Playpen" chronicled this period of the band's history.

The Reverend Horton Heat is both an American three-piece psychobilly band from Dallas, Texas, and the stage name of its singer/songwriter, Jim Heath (born in 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas).

The group originally formed in 1985, playing its first gigs in Dallas’s Deep Ellum neighborhood. Its current members are Jim “Reverend Horton” Heath on guitar and lead vocals, Jimbo Wallace on the upright bass, and Scott Churilla on drums. Through relentless touring and a manic stage show, they have established themselves as one of the most popular underground acts in America.
Their sound is self described as “Country-fed punkabilly.” Their music is a mixture of country, punk, big band, swing, and rockabilly, all played loud and energetically with lyrics that are often very humorous.

The Early November is an American pop-punk band from Hammonton, New Jersey. The group formed in 1999 and signed with Drive-Thru Records in 2002. As of 2006, they have released two EPs (2002's For All of This and 2002's The Acoustic EP), as well as two full-length albums (2003's The Room's Too Cold and 2006's triple album The Mother, the Mechanic, and the Path). Their latest effort debuted at No. 31 on the Billboard 200. They also participated in the Vans Warped Tour in 2002–2004 and 2006. They are currently signed with Rise Records and released a new album entitled In Currents on July 10, 2012.

Title Fight is a band from Kingston, Pennsylvania, USA formed in 2003 that combines elements of punk, melodic hardcore, pop punk, and emo. Title Fight plays music in the vein of Jawbreaker, Kid Dynamite and Lifetime, taking influence from such melodic punk rock acts as Saves the Day and emo bands Knapsack and Seaweed. They are currently signed to Side One Dummy records and will be embarking on their first headlining cross-country summer tour starting May 19th. They released a new 3-song 7” The Last Thing You Forget on June 23rd, as well as a CD released on July 10th, compiling all of their releases to date: 2007’s split CD with The Erection Kids and 2008’s Kingston EP (available on iTunes), both released on Flight Plan Records. The CD also includes the previously unreleased songs “Western Haikus,” “Introvert,” “Symmetry,” and “No One Stays at the Top Forever.” Their first full-length, Shed, came out on May 3rd, 2011. Their newest album “Floral Green” came out on September 18th, 2012 on Side One Dummy.
